Welcome to Stamford Youth Field Hockey!

Stamford Youth Field Hockey (SYFH) is dedicated to introducing and developing young athletes in grades 1–8 through quality instruction, teamwork, and a passion for the game. Our program is designed to help players build strong fundamental skills while fostering confidence, respect, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of field hockey.

Using age-appropriate training and a positive, encouraging environment, players are given the opportunity to develop at their own pace and reach their full potential both on and off the field.

SYFH is open to Stamford residents only and is proudly operated in partnership with CT Elite Field Hockey. This partnership allows our players to learn from some of the area's most experienced and knowledgeable coaches, providing a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience throughout the season.

Required Equipment
Each player is responsible for providing the following equipment:
Field hockey stick
Mouthguard
Field hockey shin guards
Cleats or athletic sneakers
Player safety is our top priority. Participants who do not have the required protective equipment will not be permitted to participate. No exceptions.

Registration Requirements
Players may not participate in any SYFH program until all the following have been completed:
Registration is complete when:
All required waivers have been accepted and signed.
Registration fees have been paid in full.
No exceptions.
