Winter Indoor Club

The CT Elite Field Hockey Winter Indoor Club Program starts with tryouts for age groups U12 - U19 during the month of November.  Because we draw the largest number of players in the winter, tryouts are crucial for placing players on the appropriate teams.  Last year alone, CT Elite had over 250 players tryout for a coveted spot in our winter program.

The Winter Indoor Club Program lasts roughly 12 weeks beginning the first week of December and ending the last day of February.  Depending on the age division, players will practice anywhere from one to three times weekly. All teams compete in 3-4 tournaments throughout the winter.  More information can be found under the TOURNAMENTS tab.

Indoor field hockey equipment is required: indoor stick, left-hand glove, shin guards, mouth guard, and court shoes.

Because development is paramount during the winter, we also offer specialized skill clinics designed and led by our professional staff that can be found on our Winter Indoor Academy page.
